Day 276

It's a rainy day here in Nashville.

Not much going on, but I will say that my family's dog, Nina, is annoying me.

Her new favorite thing to do is to lie.

She loves my mother more than anything in the world, and, when my mom gets home, she literally cannot wait to see her.

With her amazing puppy powers, she can sense that my mother is home as soon as she pulls into the apartment complex. And this is fine. This is not what bothers me.

What bothers me is that my mother likes to chill out in her car, listening to music, catching up on Twitter and Facebook, etc.

Nina sits with her face up to the balcony door, wondering why my mother isn't coming inside.

Finally Nina will decide that she can't stand the wait any longer.

So she decides to lie.

She comes into my bedroom and starts doing her "I MUST PEE NOW OMG" dance.

I freak out, thinking she's going to whiz all over my room. I frantically throw on clothes, cursing the animal and its inability to walk itself, search for the leash, and yell at the dog to hold its horses, I'm coming, I promise.

Finally, we're out the door, and she pulls me down the stairs. I'm muttering and unhappy because it's cold and I 'd rather be in my bed.

Nina starts pulling me towards the cars.

I jerk her to the grass.

"Pee, you dumb thing."

She pulls me to the cars.

I drag her to the grass.

"No. You said you had to pee, so pee."

She keeps straining for the cars.

I look up and see that my mom has come home.

... "You stupid, *** ******* hateful little **** of a dog!!! I got out of bed for this?!?!"

This is the second time she has done this to me. I will not be fooled a third time.

I hope.

  1. You probably will be because your fear of her ACTUALLY peeing on the floor will outweigh your fear of her being a lying jerk lmao.
